  • Colorado w/ 3.6L V6 – Upgrading to this V6 engine, along with the Trailering Package, can reach a 7,000-pound maximum towing capacity. Without the Trailering Package, this engine can tow a maximum of 3,500 pounds. 
  • Colorado w/ Duramax® 2.8L Turbo-Diesel 4-Cylinder – The Duramax® diesel engine allows drivers to reach the maximum Chevy Colorado towing capacity of 7,700 pounds. 

Chelsea drivers who select the luxurious Colorado ZR2 trim will have a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds. This is ample power for towing a small boat for fishing trips or tackling off-road adventures.
